My first impression of The World In My Kitchen:
At the first glance, I really liked the bright and beautiful colours and photgraphs in the book. I also loved the way the whole book is divided into different sections making it easy for children to understand the basics of cooking.
What I liked about the book:
- Details information rearding each aspect of cooking, for example different kinds of tools and their purpose.
- Beautiful photographs spread all across the book
- I love the way this book showcases different popular food item from various parts of the world.
- I like this book for it’s uniqueness. It’s way of creating awarenees and promoting different cultural heritages is simply remarkable.

My experience with The World In My Kitchen:
When I first received this book, it really took me sometime to sit down and figure whether I want to give this book to the girls or to keep it for myself. I say this because it makes me want to try out every single dish and relish it on my own.
On a note serious, this book teaches you so much about various cooking techniques, fun tools and simple recipes that are taken from different countries from around the globe.
Do I recommend the book, The World In My Kitchen to other parents:
Definitely, I would recommend this book to every parent who has a budding chef in their house. I love how this book is so unique yet so relatable. Children would love exploring and learning about various place and their popular delicacies all explained in a simple and fun way.
