As your baby grows into a toddler you would soon notice shes getting too choosy about the food she eats. Most of the time a disappointed mom would look up for those easily-available or ready-to-eat stuff for her baby that could in turn ruin your child’s health.
I,out of experience have found out that kids love picky snacks throughout the day… While playing around with her favourite toy… or while scribbling down her colouring book… a quick snack is always welcome!! 🙂
Here are the things I find very handy for my lil one!
Cheese – Its such an amazing early evening snack.. Apart from the nutritive value it has, I can always bribe my kiddo into getting things done with just one of its slices…! 😉
Yogurt – Thankfully my baby loves yogurt! I personally know a few kids who would just throw up at the slightest smell of it! The best time to serve is.. when shes busy playing in lawn or on the terrace where she also gets exposed to sufficent amount of sunlight..! A great source of vitamin D!!
Juice – It could be any juice.. a vegetable or a fruit, take your pick! But make sure you add lots of water to it.. say if one part is the juice of any fruit/veg of your choice then ten parts of it will be water.. this helps in easy digestion and also your kid will not start hating that fruit/veg for its strong taste! Yay! Two birds in one shot!! 😉
Fruits/veggies – Any fruit/vegetable of your choice… or more precisely of your child’s choice.. My kid likes carrots, cucumber, cabbage, banana, apple and a few more.. you can stream the veggies or just serve them raw after thoroughly washing them!
Oatmeal– The Big Thing just loves oatmeal.. Its super-easy to make and even easier to feed! Plus its amazing nutritive value!
P.S: The above statements are not based on any medical proof.. instead on my personal experiences! 🙂
Do let me know if you’ve a better idea.. What do you feed your kid with?!? ( Apart from the fact that he eats up your brain every now and then!! ) 😉 😀
