A little over a month ago I came across this brand called Freshistry that customizes products according to our need and taste. The good folks at Freshistry sent me some of their products to try and review them here on my blog. After using them for over two weeks here is my Freshistry Skincare Review.
Freshistry Skincare Review:
My first impressions of Freshistry Skincare Review:
The very first thing that caught my attention was the whole idea behind the brand. The thought of customized skincare is one-of-a-kind, especially in today’s Indian market.
The next I noticed was the classy jet black packaging. It’s unique and stylish. It reminds me of another very famous brand that makes luxury bath products.
Price:
Approximately 400 per product.
Packaging:
All the products come in a plastic tub very similar to the store-bought ice-cream tubs. The tub is then packed inside a black drawstring pouch.
Texture & colour:
The products are available in different colours, texture and fragrances offering a wide variety for the customer’s to choose from depending on their need.
Ingredients of the Freshistry skincare:
Cream – Aqua, Cream Base, Bees Wax, MCW, T.E.A, Perfume, Preservatives.
Face cleanser – Aqua, Soft Surfactant Base, Cross Polymer, Glycerin, T.E.A, Kathon CG, Exfoliant, Perfume, Preservatives.
How to use Freshistry skincare:
Face cleanser – Wet face, scoop out a coin-sized amount of the product and gentle massage it into the skin in circular motion just as any face cleanser.
Cream – Scoop a pea-sized amount and apply all over damp skin, preferably minutes after bath time.
How to clean the Freshistry skincare:
Just as any skincare product, rinse thoroughly with water to clean the product.
My experience with the Freshistry skincare:
When I first came across this brand, I was sure of one thing, I wanted to get something for my husband who otherwise won’t really anything for himself.
Since I already knew what he likes and dislikes, his skin type and his requirements, I immediately picked the products for him. Face cleanser and cream are extremely impressive. He’s been loving it so far and so have I.
Even though I ordered the products from my husband, I have used them both fairly enough to share a detailed review of it.
What I like about the Freshistry skincare:
- The customised option is very good and helpful for people looking for a very specific product.
- The pleasing fragrance of the products. My rooms smells divine when my husband comes out of shower after applying the cream.
- The packaging is really unique and stylish.
- The price point is not too high nor too low.
- The brand also offers a consultation to help you pick the best product for your need.
What I don’t like about the Freshistry skincare:
- The packaging though very classy, is not sturdy enough.
- The lid of the tub comes off very easily and may cause the products to flow out of the container.
- The packaging are not travel-friendly.
- It doesn’t come with any spatula which some users may find unhygienic.
Will I recommend the Freshistry skincare to others?
Yes, I would recommend Freshistry skincare to someone who is looking to explore the new side of the cosmetic market and to someone who is very particular about elements of their products, like the fragrance, colour and texture and more.
We have been loving our Freshistry products so far and can’t wait to go back to order some more, this time some nice haircare products are on my radar.
