We have been travelling all of this month and I couldn’t find enough time to sit and blog. The girls were also busy meeting our family members, friends and new people π They both had an awesome time. And one day we decided to do a little activity with whatever minimum things we had on hand. I’m sharing this fun craft activity with you here today.
So these are the things you will need to get started:
- Watercolours
- card stock paper
- sketch pens
- and super enthusiastic kids
- full body apron ( Optional)
What we did:Β
We grabbed some watercolours and thumbpainted randomly over a white card stock paper. You can use any paper for that matter. And that’s it. You will need to just let go and let the kids have fun with the colours and paper.
Both the girls made colourful thumb impression all over the paper while I kept watching them enjoy! Once they were done. I grabbed a sketch pen and drew the string/wire attaching all the thumbprints making it look like a beautiful array of lights. Yes as simple as that! π
This little activity was what I could to do away from where with limited resources.
P.S: This craft looks super simple and adorable but be prepared to the mess because kids are kids! π
I can’t wait to get it framed and have it hung in our kids’ room! π
