Money plant is one of the easiest and hardiest plants. These require minimum care and can easily become the most gorgeous decorative touch to your house.

Here are my top five tips to Growing Pothos Faster At Home:

💦DON’T OVERWATER

The biggest reason to kill Pothos or any indoor plant for that matter is overwatering. Water only when the soil has dried out. Money plant can either be watered twice a week depending on the area you live. I prefer showering my Pothos. I feel it’s feel easy to take the plants in bathtub and hose them all down once a week.

🍎FEED THE PLANT:

Just like any other plant Pothos also needs a fertiliser. I use of organic seaweed solution once in two months to feed my Pothos. I got the GrowFast brand from Carrefour Qatar. It should be available in all the local nurseries in your area.

☀️SUNLIGHT:

Money plant can grow anywhere in the house but the amount of growth depends on the amount of sunlight it receives. Pothos loves bright, indirect light so it’s best to keep it in a bright spot. Also remember too much direct sunlight can burn the leaves. So just be cautious.

💇‍♀️PRUNING IS GOOD:

Yes cutting Money plant can actually encourage growth in the main plant. It’s very simple cut off stems of the plant to get your cuttings. Use these cuttings to propagate another Pothos plant. You could grow so many plants from one mother plant. I have propagated four money plants from one mother plant.

🐛KEEP PESTS IN CHECK:

Keep an eye out for pests and insects. These can stunt the growth of the plant. If you want to make your own insecticide you’d mix 1 teaspoon of regular dish washing liquid soap into a litre of water. Spray it on the entire plant. Showering your plant once in a while can also help in washing away bugs.
