My toddler is a real fussy-eater. In fact toddlers are fussy eaters. So rather than making meals just another task of the day, I decided to make it a little more interesting. Oh I try to do it all the while but it doesn’t really work every time and even if it does work for me, it may just not work for you and your kids. But don’t be disheartened, try something else and make her enjoy what she’s eating.
There are two things that my daughter likes 1) she loves picking up food from her plate and tossing it in to her month, on her own. 2) When ever she does this, she mostly accepts what she’s picking up. So there’s less spitting and rejection.
And so, this little idea popped my head and we are so happy it’s working wonders for us!
The trick is super simple. You just need to cut down the food preferably fruits, veggies, toast into tiny pieces, prick them with toothpicks and serve it to your toddler! Really! That’s all you will need to do. And I’m sure your kid will definitely want to pick and pop a few more tiny pieces into her mouth!
Don’t believe me yet?? Try it for yourself!!
What are your little tricks to convince your toddler to eat on her own?? Let me know in the comments below!
Happy Mom-ing Ladies!
