TOP 10 EID GIFT IDEAS FOR CHILDREN – EID GIFT GUIDE
Eid is just around the corner and if you are anything like me you may be on a lookout for best gifts to give to your children on this special occasion.
Two days ago I asked on my Instagram Stories for some Eid gift ideas and so many of you suggested a variety of toys and other gifts you are going to give your children this Eid.
So today I’m compiling some of the most trending and popular toys and gifts you all suggested. Some of these are what we are going to gift our children too (but..sshh..it’s a surprise).
We have a 6-year-old, 4-year-old and a 1.5-year-old in the house. So this list will come handy for you if your children are anywhere in this age groups. Read on to find out what your children will love getting this Eid from you.
MELISSA & DOUG JUMBO COLORING PAD
This Jumbo coloring pad can keep a child entertained for hours at a stretch. These may not be very travel-friendly but they make a perfect present for any occasion.
WALKIE-TALKIE
Which child doesn’t like pretend play? Our kids love it too and a walkie-talkie that actually works has been on their wish-list for a long time now.
PLAY DOUGH SET
A good quality play dough can never disappoint a child. A few different colors and a fancy toolset thrown in can brighten anyone’s day. I recommend you get them online when they are on sale.
SLIME KIT
If you are on social media, you must be familiar with this one. But in case you aren’t, let me tell you, slime is like play dough’s cousin. Just more gooey and soft but double the fun. You get the idea right? If this is yours or your child’s first time then get just one or two colors and textures. Let the kids get the hang of it and invest in more only if your child fancy’s it.
FAIRY WINGS
If you have little girls like I do, you know what a pretty set of fairy wings can mean to them. Our girls are going to jump with joy when they see their most favorite thing on the Eid morning – the fairy wings.
COLORING SET
A good non-toxic coloring set is another gift no child will frown upon. A mix of color pencils, crayons, sketch pens make the perfect gift to go with the Jumbo coloring pad.
LEGO DUPLO SET
Lego Duplo set, need I say more? Every child deserves a nice set of building blocks. I recommend Lego Duplo set because that’s what we have and our children are abusing them day in and day out. You may alternatively get the small Lego blocks if you don’t have a toddler in your house unlike us.
EASEL
I can’t recommend this enough especially if you have two kids or more. The white and blackboard easel from Ikea we got almost a year ago is still our kid’s best friend.
MAGNETIC TILES
Can I say magnetic tiles are more like Lego Duplo’s cousins too? Haha! Yes., they are that good. Some kids love magnetic tiles more than building blocks. See what works for your child and invest. We got the Gel Tiles from Gel gifts and I’d highly recommend them to you.
BOOKS
Books are one of the most underestimated gifts, choose from an array for books depending on your child’s interest. We personally love the children’s cookbook, nature & Earth, science books. Apart from these books, Islamic books from Ilyas and Duck make a perfect Eid day gift.
