Hi Hfreen! I hope this finds you well. I’m writing to let you know that I’ve nominated you for a Liebster Award, which is an award conferred by bloggers on other bloggers. I am enjoying reading your blog and look forward to more posts by you. As a nominee, I have named you on my blog, which you can find at http://www.1sttimemomat42.wordpress.com. I have also linked to your page from mine. In order to ACCEPT the “nomination” by me (which is really acceptance of the award), you need to follow do a few things according to the Liebster Award rules:
1. Post a page on your blog in which you acknowledge the award and thank the blog that nominated you (which is First-Time Mom at 42).
2. Post the Liebster Award image on your blog. You can find the image by Googling The Liebster Award, which is what I did.
3. Answer 11 questions about yourself. It’s probably easiest if you answer the same questions I did. if you look on my blog under the post entitled “Loving My Liebster Award,” you can see the questions that were asked of me. You would simply answer these questions on the page you post on your own blog.
4. List 11 random facts about yourself on that same page that you post.
5. Nominate one or more other blogs that you feel are worthwhile. The blog you nominate must be a “new” blog with less than 1000 followers.
6. Notify the blogs you’ve nominated that you have nominated them and give them the same instructions I’ve just listed here for you.
Based on what I’ve read, the Liebster Awards were created in order to help new blogs build gain recognition and build an audience, which are two of the hardest things to do as a new blogger.
