If you follow me on Facebook, you already know that I’m homeschooling my toddler who will turn two this month. We did homeschooling with the Big Thing too expect of that one term she went to Nursery. But this time around, I was sure that I was going to do it different, the real Montessori way.
And I have decided to do a series of posts in the next couple of months, to share with you all the activities that we are doing at home. We do most of the activities together, that’s both the girls and I. I don’t involve myself in to the activities, a lot. But I’m just around or sitting with them and supervising.
So if you have children between ages 2-3, or a little over that, than these activities will be fun to do while your children learn a ton of new things every day. You may however feel free to alter any activity accordingly to your child’s need and interest.
One last thing to note, when it comes to the material required for the activities, here on The Mommy Blog, you will find a lot of thrifty or do-it-yourself stuff. And may be very little of store-bought stuff. So if you aren’t like me or if DIY-ing is just not your thing, then you may want to skip this section.
Also by DIY, I don’t mean that I intend to spend hours together making anything, I know I’m a mom and can’t let children starve, just because I’m working on some new material for them. No! So most of the activities I set up for them don’t require a lot of time (One reason why you should be following us 😉 ).
I will have all the activities linked down below. So you can bookmark it and check once in a while for any updates.
Also I would love to know/see what activities you do with your children at home, so please do leave a comment in the comments section and let me know.
