You don’t want to miss Our Minimal Eid Breakfast Spread!!
I hope you are doing great. We are fine here. Alhamdulillah. This post is in continuation with my Instagram stories I shared around the time of Eid Al Adha 2020. Today I’m going to share how we filled our Eid Gift bags. Here’s how we filled our Eid gift bags:
PLAN IT OUT
To start with, I highly recommend you to have a plan. Sit down and write down a list of things you need to buy, and the stores where they are available at a reasonable. If you are making many bags you will obviously need multiples of the same item so make a count and shop accordingly.
PACK EVERYTHING BEFOREHAND
You don’t want to sit with bags full of stuff on Eid day. You want to enjoy Eid more than anything. So definitely pack Eid bags more prior to Eid.
GET YOUR KIDS INVOLVED
Getting your kids involved isn’t just important but also necessary. By doing so, your children will understand the meaning of giving and spreading joy. Although they may not by the most expensive of the presents, they will still learn a lesson for life.
THINGS YOU COULD ADD TO EID GIFT BAG
I love picking up a number of small items that can easily fit in our bag gift bag. Things like small toys, chocolates, balloons, candies, craft supplies or stationery. Think simple, think joy. Basically anything that would make children a little more happy.
MAKE IT A TRADITION
Eid comes only twice every year. We do this every Eid Al Adha so it’s a little precious tradition that we have started after moving to Qatar. Alhamdulillah.
We have been doing every year and it makes Eid so much more special for our family, especially kids because they eagerly look forward to disturbing Eid bags to their friends in neighbourhood with so much enthusiasm.
I hope you enjoyed reading this article. I also hope you take this tradition up and enjoy with your children.

That is so sweet! Visiting my friends on Eid when I was a child, meant getting cash as Eidi, but this is the such a great way of making the occasion personalised and special.
